Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Trufyre Technologies Pty Ltd (Australia), the operator of PetWrite. By ticking the consent box when you create an account, or by using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PetWrite. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

PetWrite is a record keeping and journalling tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical or professional advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing in the app should be treated as such. Reminders, due dates, schedule calculations and AI generated summaries are conveniences only. Always confirm vaccination schedules, dosages and treatment with a qualified veterinary professional. Never delay seeking veterinary care because of something you read in PetWrite.

Features such as vaccination card scanning and story drafting use automated systems that can misread, omit or invent details. You are responsible for checking any AI output against the original document before saving, sharing or acting on it. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate or complete.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password safe, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at support@petwrite.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may close your account at any time.

You keep all ownership of the records, photos and writing you put into PetWrite. You give us a limited licence to host, store, back up, display and process that content solely so we can run the service for you, including generating exports and share cards you ask for. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, including any photos of other people.

When you export a record or create a share card or handoff link, you decide who receives it. We cannot control what those people do with it afterwards, so please share thoughtfully and only what is needed.

• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive or infringing content.
• Do not upload other people's personal information without their permission.
• Do not attempt to break, probe, scrape, overload or reverse engineer the service, or access accounts that are not yours.
• Do not resell or rebrand the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.

PetWrite is currently in an open pilot. Plans and prices shown in the app are illustrative, no payment is taken, and no plan can be purchased while the pilot runs. We will give you clear notice before any paid plan begins, and you will never be charged without choosing a plan first. Pilot features may change, pause or be withdrawn as we learn.

We work hard to keep PetWrite running and your data safe, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise uninterrupted or error free operation. Please keep your own copies of anything you cannot bear to lose, using the export tools in the app.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply, and in any event to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during the pilot is nil.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or any harm arising from decisions about your pet's health made in reliance on the app rather than on veterinary advice.

You agree to cover us for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from content you upload or share, or from your use of PetWrite in breach of these terms or the law.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use PetWrite means you accept it. Either of us may end this agreement at any time by closing the account. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory protections of the place you live. If a clause is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
